Review On February’s VoxBox

Hey guys! I hope you are all having a wonderful day. A few weeks ago, I got a lovely box of products by Influenster. Today I’m going to show you what I got, and whether I liked the products or not! You get this cute little box, and when you open it up, there’s a card right on top.

Sinful Colors Nail Polish

One of the things I got was this beautiful blue/green/yellow metallic nail polish. It’s from the company Sinful Colors. I have used their polishes before. You can get them at Sally’s Beauty Store, and some Targets sell their products. Well they are coming out with a new Kandee Johnson collection with 12 new shades. I got the one you can see in the picture, which is considered to have a sugar finish. img_2005-1

I actually liked the color! I tend to go for cool colors. I like this polish, because it changes colors depending on the lighting.

Carefree Acti-Fresh Liner

They also sent me some Carefree pantyliner. It’s funny because I actually use these on a regular basis. They are extremely thin, and I find them to be really comfortable. It promises “all day freshness”, but I honestly don’t recommend keeping a liner on for that long. Nonetheless, if you’re looking for new panty liners, then I would suggest you try these out! They aren’t expensive, and come with loads in the box.

Madam CJ Walker Brassica Seed Oil

I have never heard of this product until this was sent to me. I was a little nervous to try this product out, because I take care of my hair, and am semi-picky about what products I put in it. I decided to use this product when my hair was feeling a bit dry, and put some product into my hands, and rubbed it into my ends. I was pleasantly surprised by how soft it made my hair. It says it uses natural ingredients, which I liked. I would get this product after I run out of what they gave me!

Shea Moisture Shampoo and Blow out Creme

As I mentioned before, I was a little nervous to try more hair products to my hair. Since the Brassica oil worked so well, I decided to give these two products a try as well. The first thing I have to mention is the fact that a little product goes a long way. I put a little bit into my hands and it automatically starts to foam up, which I love. After finishing my shower, I noticed how soft my hair was. This was just from using their shampoo. Their shampoo is supposed to have almond milk and argan oil.

Then I used their Blow Out Creme, which is supposed to “improve styling control & speed”. I put this in my damp hair, and blow dried my hair. I felt like it helped with my flyaways, and also made my hair look extremely shiny. The one thing I would warn is that it is a little greasy, so if you’re going to use it, only use it sparingly. Other than that, I loved how my hair came out!

Vaseline

I was kind of excited when I saw this product in the box. We had actually just run out of it in the house! Vaseline is such a multi-use product. You can put it on your lips, on your dry skin, when you’re dying your hair, etc! If you guys want I could make a post stating all the different ways you can use Vaseline.

So this is what I got in my VoxBox. I want you guys to know that while these products were given to me, all my thoughts are my honest opinions. If you have any questions let me know!

I hope you guys have a wonderful day.

  1. This looks like such a great box. The Madam CJ Walker Brassica Seed Oil in particular sounds really good so I’ll need to keep an eye out for it. Anything to help my dry hair!
