Hello everyone, I hope you’re enjoying the last few weeks of summer! I know some people are totally over summer, but as I’ve mentioned before, I’m a little sad for it to be coming to an end. Oh well, my favorite time of the year is just about to start!
Now as you guys all know, a few months ago, I started a post talking about me starting my exercising journey (here). I thought it’s kind of cool to keep record of how I improve in terms of exercising and stuff. I also think it would be a good thing to look back on!
Well, since we last spoke, I was doing Yoga. I’m still doing yoga occasionally. I really love it, but it wasn’t giving me the full body changes that I wanted. I saw there was a difference in my upper legs and my butt. The rest of my body was barely changing.
Recently, I’ve been going to my local track. I really like doing bleachers (steps), because I feel like it gives you the full body workout that is really good. Since I’ve been slacking on that a little bit, I’ve been walking/jogging/running around for 2 miles everyday. I don’t know how long I’m going to keep up with this, but for now, I really love this! It makes me feel amazing afterwards. Sometimes it’s been a little tough to want to do right after work, but I know that in the long run, it’s going to give me the body I’m going to want.
Another thing I’ve added to my regimen is kickboxing! I’ve only gone to one class so far, but I love it! I was sore for two days, but it really was an actual full body workout. I can’t wait to go back.
